Project Overview 
The Test Solutions team develops and supports test capabilities across the full engineering lifecycle for Missile Defense products. This includes defining test requirements, designing test systems, and integrating advanced technologies for use in labs, field environments, and production. The team delivers robust, affordable, and reliable test solutions that enable successful development, verification, and sustainment of weapon system products. 
 
Position Overview 
The Test Systems Engineer coordinates across engineering disciplines to define and document test environment capabilities. The role requires strong systems thinking, knowledge of developmental and production test processes, and understanding of how hardware should be tested from component level to full system integration. The engineer identifies technology risks, supports factory transitions, and contributes to the verification and validation of hardware using proven test methods. 
 
Key deliverables for this role 
• Define test requirements and system capabilities across the engineering lifecycle 
• Integrate models, simulations, prototypes, and test beds into comprehensive test solutions 
• Support factory transitions, hardware integration, and validation using established test methodologies 
• Identify technology risks, cost drivers, and opportunities for improved affordability 
• Mentor teams and support implementation for major development programs

Success is demonstrated by delivering reliable and cost effective test solutions, collaborating effectively across engineering teams, and ensuring test capabilities meet program needs from development through production.  

Core Technical Skills (Non-negotiables)  
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field  
• Systems engineering experience across test requirements, planning, integration, and verification/validation  
• Technical or program leadership experience managing risk, schedule, or multidisciplinary resources  
• Ability to develop, decompose, and manage systems requirements throughout the product lifecycle  
• Familiarity with modeling and systems engineering tools/methods, including UML/SysML, 
DOORS, and standard test methodologies across development and production  
 
Desired Skills (Nice-to-Have)  
• Advanced degree in a STEM field  
• Experience with embedded test techniques, design for test, and design for manufacturing practices • 
 Familiarity with Agile development processes  
• Experience supporting proposal efforts and contributing to bid decisions  
• Knowledge of FMEA, Model Based Engineering tools, and technology/manufacturing readiness levels 

Tools / Technologies Required MBSE Tools such as DOORS, CAMEO, Rhapsody, etc 
 
Security Clearance Required – Secret 
Compensation: $100,000.00 - $113,000.00 per year
